Registration Process

After registering/purchasing for any Ace Aviation training program, you will receive an email confirmation along with an SMS to your mobile phone.

 

After registration, you will be issued with a username and password to access online learning content. The learning portal will only be activated only when a full payment has been made by the student.

 

Once the payment has been made and received at our end, you will receive an email which will allow you to plan your entire journey with us. (class, practical, exam and workshop dates).

 

Students will also be issued with a username and password to their “student centre” which will become active within 30 minutes after enrolling with Ace Aviation.

The logins are valid for 12 months from the time of purchase. If you have questions regarding your registration, please contact on elfs@aaa.edu.au

Payment Terms

A quote will be emailed to you once you are signed up/enrolled with us.


The quote has a cooling off period of two (2) calendar days. After the two (2) calendar days, the quote will expire and an invoice will be sent to you.


During the cooling off period, you can opt to cancel the quote with no penalties by clicking the decline button on the quotation sent to you or by emailing your request to elfs@aaa.edu.au


Your enrolment is only cancelled if you receive a “confirmation of cancellation” email from us.


If no cancellation request is received during the cooling off period, the quote will be turned into an invoice and your enrolment with Ace Aviation will be confirmed.


Payment for invoices shall be made within STRICTLY seven business days (7) from date of the invoice for the full amount unless an alternative payment arrangement has been discussed and agreed in writing. Please email either enrolments@aaa.edu.au or finance@aaa.edu.au


Should payment not be made within STRICTLY seven (7) business days we reserve the rights to commence external debt collection.


For students who are seeking co-contribution from the government (SCOW or VERTO), the due date for the invoice is left open. 

Certificate III in Aviation Program

Certificate III in Aviation Program is delivered on behalf of the following:

Students are required to fill out an enrolment form to formally enrol with the provider. The enrolment form will be made available to Ace Aviation students on their student center – online portal.

 

The students are required to complete the necessary Gap training and produce their RePL licence & AROC to qualify for the certificate III in Aviation – AVI30419 Remote Pilot Visual Line of Sight.

 

A $50 printing and shipping cost will be invoiced if the student wishes to have a printed/hard copy of their Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot Line of Sight).

Government Grant

The government grant is available for Ace Aviation students upon meeting certain requirements set out by the government grant provider.  A student can only attend a class if the grant has been approved by the  government grant provider and the course fee has been fully paid to Ace Aviation.

 

 

Any pending documents or pending payments are the student’s responsibility and should be directly coordinated with the government grant provider.

 

 

If a student has not completed the grant application process but would like to start the RePL Training with us, the student is required to pay the course fee in full to us. (Please note: this amount is not the same as the co-contribution amount for the government grant)

 

Once the grant has been approved and payment has been fully received from the grant agency to fund your course fee , Ace Aviation will fully refund the initial payment made back to the student.

Ace Aviation Scholarship

The Ace Aviation Scholarship will be awarded to interested applicants upon passing the requirements. 

Crazy Sale 2021

Crazy sales expires on 23:59 30 June 2021. AROC is not apart of the Crazy Sale and can’t be claimed against it. Quotes should be accepted either on or before 25th June 2021. Payment should be made on or before 30th June 2021. Ace Aviation reserves the right to remove the promotion at anytime.

Altitude+ Terms

Altitude+ is provided to all students who sign up for either Bronze, Silver or Gold package. Your account will be issued automatically along with your student portal login details upon signup. Additional feature of Altitude+ will need to be requested. These features include:

  • A free .edu.au email address
  • Student ID card
  • Student Drone Prices
  • Free Refreshers 

 

Upon making a request for the above features, Ace Aviation will verify that the following has occurred:

  • A full payment has been made

 

Your portal will only be activated once we have received and processed full payment unless alternative arrangements have been made in writing to a staff member of Ace Aviation. Students who wish to seek a refund should note that their Altitude+ Membership will be revoked. This includes the following if issued:

  • .edu.au email address
  • Student ID card
  • Cancelation of upcoming refreshers course

 

Ace Aviation Reserves the rights to terminate the Altitude + Benefits if deemed appropriate for any reasons seen fit by the management.

ReOC Assistance Services

If availed in a course package, ReOC Assistance Services (Express ReOC) component can only be used within 182 days upon completion of the RePL Training otherwise any fees received by Ace Aviation for Express ReOC will be forfeited on the 183th day.

 

If availed as a separate component, ReOC Assistance Services (Express ReOC) can only be used within 6 months upon payment otherwise any fees received by Ace Aviation for Express ReOC will be forfeited on the 182nd day.

 

1-on-1 ReOC Consultation Assistance Services are divided in 2 components:

  • ReOC Consultancy by Ace Aviation
  • ReOC Application to CASA.
 

ReOC Consultation Terms (1-on-1 Consultation, not ReOC workshop)

 

In registration of ReOC Assistance Services, the Remote Operators Certificate To-Do list section will be activated under your Student’s to-do list section in the Student center.

 

  • Minimum consultation duration is 2.5 hours.
  • $100 per consultation.
  • Multiple sessions to accumulate 2.5 hours is not allowed.
  • If the session is less than 2.5 hours, it will be rounded to 2.5 hours.
  • $50 per additional 60 minutes for extension of consultation session if required.
  • Extended consultation session is automatically rounded off to 60 minutes.
  • Booking should be made ahead of time.
  • Consultation Fee is non-refundable if not utilised.
 

It is your duty to ensure that the all the sections under the Remote Operators Certificate To-Do list is completed for us to action the following:

 

  • Preparing the Operations manual & library.
  • Preparing all the documents necessary for the final submission to CASA.

Failing of Assessments/ Uncompleted Assessments

  • If you fail the written RePL Exam (score below 85%):
    • To retake the test, student has to pay the retake charge fee of $300. Schedule to be determined by the Ace Aviation Staff.
  • If the student failed the written AROC assessment (score below 75%):
    • To retake the test, student is required to pay the retake charge fee of $150. Schedule will be determined by Ace Aviation.
  • If the student failed the practical assessment:
    • To retake the practical assessment, student is required to pay the retake charge fee of $500. Schedule to be determined by Ace Aviation.
  • If student did not complete the flying hours due to personal reason:
    • To continue the flying hours, student has to pay the retake charge fee of $500. Schedule to be determined by Ace Aviation.
  • If student did not complete the flying hours due to weather conditions:
    • To continue the flying hours, an Ace Aviation enrolment officer will coordinate with the student on the next available schedule. It is the discretion of Ace Aviation to allocate the students on the next day of training. This will be of no charge.
  • If the student did not complete the flying hours due to any personal circumstances and wanted to setup an alternative day for practical training (Any personal circumstances other than medical reasons or acts of God with evidence will be exempt)
    • To continue the flying hours, student has to pay $500 per session. 
  • If a student scores below 50% on the RePL Theory Exam, the student is required to resit the course and there will be fees of $300 which will be applied as a reexamination fee.

Student policies, Rules and Regulation for assessments

Student policies, rules and regulations for assessments will be made available to all students on the Ace Student Center. Students are required to read these policies and acknowledge them prior to commencement of both theory and practical assessments.

 

  • In order for students to take the theory exam at one of our campuses using a hardcopy of the examination, then the student needs to acknowledge the Theory Exam Rules And Regulations by signing the Theory Exam Rules And Regulations document made available during the day of the exam.
  • For practical assessments, the student needs to acknowledge the Practical Assessment Policy by signing the Practical Assessment Policy document made available on the day of the practical assessment. 
  • It is a duty of the students to read the practical assessment policy and the Theory Exam Rules and Regulations before acknowledging it.

Zip Money

Ace Aviation accepts Zip Money when paying for your course. Just select the Zip Money option on step 3 of the enrolment form. Once you have chosen the Zip Money option, one of our enrolment officers will be directly in touch with you to invite you to start an application with Zip Money. 

 

Zip Money will conduct their own credit checks to determine your eligibility. Once your finance has been approved through Zip Money and Ace Aviation has received your tuition fees, you will be entitled to all course materials and benefits (Altitude+) and will be formally placed on the course.

 

Please note that Ace Aviation does not provide refunds to any course enroled and paid through Zip Money.

Ezidebit Payment Plan

RePL application may only be submitted to CASA:

  • If invoiced course fee has been fully paid.

ReOC Application to CASA may only be submitted:

  • If the invoiced course fee has been fully paid.

Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot Line of Sight) certificate and transcript will only be issued:

  • If the invoiced course fee has been fully paid.

Ezidebit charges an admin fee and a transaction fee, therefore, students who opt to pay via Ezidebit (monthly payments) will incur such charges which is covered by Ace Aviation.

If a student wished to seek a refund, a fee of 10% admin, processing and cancelation fee of the already paid amount will be automatically deducted from the refund amount.

Cancellation, Refund and Schedule Change

If student decide to cancel enrolment, he/she is required to information Ace Aviation in writing regarding the intention of cancelation within the cooling of period of  two (2) calendar days.


NO REFUND will be provided to the student if the quote past its cooling of period of two (2) calendar days and no cancellation request has been received during the cooling of period as specified clearly on the quote.


Ace Aviation reserves the right to seek legal action and to use an external debt collection agency in the event of cancellation of the course without any formal evidence.


Cancellation due to compassionate reason, student has to provide a legal document. This may still be subject for approval of management. Legal document may go through further check and investigation. Upon approval of refund by the management, funds may be processed in 7 – 14 banking days.


If student decided to change/move training schedule, and it is:

    • 24 hours before the scheduled training date, the student is required to pay a “Change of Schedule Fee” of $300. Non-payment of the “Change of Schedule Fee” may result in forfeit of enrolment fee.
  • All enrolments are non-transferrable.
  • ReOC Consultancy fee is non-refundable.
  • We reserve the right to change or alter the training location more than 24 hours in advanced of the course start date.
  • If the course location is more than 150km away from the original location, you may request a refund for the practical component of the course.

Security

All online credit card transactions performed on the ACE AVIATION’s website, using the Stripe payment gateway, are secured payments.

The following security measures are applied to these payments:

  • Payments are fully automated with an immediate response;
    Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Ace Aviation or any outside party;
  • All transactions are performed under 256 Bit SSL Certificate;
  • All transaction data is encrypted for storage within Stripe’s bank-grade data centre, further protecting your credit card data;
  • Stripe is an authorised third party processor for all the major Australian and New Zealand banks;
  • Stripe at no time touches your funds; and
  • All monies are directly transferred from your credit card to the merchant account held by Ace Aviation Pty Ltd.

Terms of Signup

  1. I have read and understand all questions and details in the enrolment form.
  2. I agree that all information that I have provided in the enrolment form is to the best of my knowledge, true and accurate at the time of my enrolment (including information provided to assess my eligibility).
  3. I understand that Ace Aviation incurs a numerous amounts of overheads and will be making arrangements for my training since the day of my enrolment. (refer to Cancellation, Refund and Schedule Change)
  4. I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Information, Rules, Regulations, Policies and Procedures of Ace Aviation, located in the Important Enrolment Information.
  5. I agree that my participation in the course is subject to the right of Ace Aviation to cancel or amalgamate the course or classes related to the course.
  6. I confirm that I have been informed about the training, assessment, and support services to be provided by Ace Aviation and about my rights and obligations as a student at Ace Aviation.
  7. I agree that I will be held personally liable for the cost and repairs to Ace Aviation property or equipment that I damage or lose during the course.
  8. I give consent for photographs of me to be used for marketing purposes on the Ace Aviation website, print material and social media accounts.
  9. In the event of illness or accident during an Ace Aviation organised activity, and where my emergency contact or next of kin cannot be contacted, I authorise Ace Aviation, its agent or representative, to seek ambulance, medical or surgical treatment at my cost.
  10. I agree that my academic results will be withheld until my course debt is fully paid and any property belonging to Ace Aviation in my possession, has been returned.
  1. Students will automatically be given an access to Altitude+ upon signup. The benefits can only be activated upon receipt of full payment. I also agree that Ace Aviation reserves the rights to cancel the Altitude + Benefits if deemed appropriate for any reasons seen fit by the management.
  2. Students will automatically be given login details to their student portal upon signup. The course content will only be visible upon receipt of full payment.

 

COVID – 19 UPDATE

In the current situation of the global pandemic reoccurring in your chosen location of training, we’ll assist you to make changes to your booking, removing any change or rescheduling fees.

 

Please note that refund is not applicable for students who wish to cancel their course during this time as Ace Aviation will be making all efforts to provide the most flexible learning experience for our students to complete their course during this challenging period.

 

No refund will be provided to in the event we must cancel a class due to lock down or one of our trainers in unable to travel to the training location to conduct the class. During such event, we’ll assist you to make changes to your booking, removing any change or rescheduling fees.
