Beyond Visual Line of Sight
BVLOS removes the visual-sighting requirement entirely — the pilot flies the aircraft beyond where they can see it with the naked eye. Operations rely on technology (GPS, detect-and-avoid systems, telemetry) and robust procedures approved by CASA under a ReOC.

Extended Visual Line of Sight

A stepping stone to full BVLOS, EVLOS is often faster to approve and is well-suited to survey and inspection corridors where observers can be positioned strategically.

CASA approval required
